Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy, select the quantity and any other options available – then add them into your ‘shopping cart’. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for the details that we need to be able to satisfy your order, you will be able to order and pay online using our secure server or choose other options such as ordering by email, FAX or post and paying by cheque or over the telephone.

Online payments
We accept credit card payments online using a secure payment provider (PayPoint) to take online payments. Our checkout system will take you through the payment steps but your order is not placed or payment authorised until you submit your order. By completing and submitting an electronic order form you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. You will need to make sure that the information and card details you type are correct as your order will not be shipped until payment is confirmed, you will be able to check and correct any details before you submit your order. By providing credit card details you are confirming that the card is yours or you are authorised to use it for payment.

Ordering by email, post, Fax or telephone
You can place your order by email, post, Fax or telephone. To post or Fax your order please use the online shopping cart then at Step 3 of the process print out your order page from the website and fax or post it to us.  You can provide credit card details by telephone or Fax, we advise you not to email your credit card details, by providing the details you are confirming that the card is yours or you are authorised to use it for payment. Cheques/postal orders should be made payable to 'AB Parts'. We must receive payment for the whole of the price of the goods you order, and any applicable charges for delivery, before your order can be processed unless we have agreed otherwise in advance in writing.

International payments
Prices are shown in £Sterling. If you are shopping from outside the United Kingdom your credit card company will convert the transaction from UK £Sterling to your own currency so exchange rates will vary.

The sales contract
When we confirm your order is received this is to show that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we ship your order and send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. We reserve the right to change the items for sale on our website, to change our prices and other content. Occasionally an error may occur with our web site and goods may be incorrectly priced in which circumstances we will not be obliged to supply the goods at the incorrect price. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable before shipping any goods. We also reserve the right to not accept an order.

If there is a problem with your order or we choose not to accept your order any credit card payments already taken will be refunded.

When buying goods and services by mail order or over the internet you are entering into a legally binding contract so it is in your own interests to read all of the information in our terms and conditions. For further information please see the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 and the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 which can be viewed at www.tradingstandards.gov.uk or contact your local Trading Standards office. Your statutory rights are not affected.

These terms and conditions are designed to comply with UK law.

Returns Policy Please note the following important information:

Parts for Land Rover models can vary depending on the year of manufacture, also some older vehicles may have been modified over the years so it is important that you order the correct part(s) for your vehicle, please contact us to check if you are uncertain.
Make sure the parts are fitted by a suitably competent person using the correct tools, safety equipment, etc.

Legally, you have the right to cancel your order up to seven days from receiving the part(s), but you will be liable for postage costs for all returned items. However, we allow up to 14 days for returns, provided the goods are returned in the condition in which they were sent out and you let us know that you will be returning them. All parts must be returned as unused, unmarked, and undamaged because otherwise they cannot be re-sold, or returned to our suppliers for a refund. So please make sure any parts are handled with care, even if wrongly ordered/supplied.

We will offer a replacement or refund when a part is returned within 14 days because:
It was faulty; or was genuinely damaged in transit; or was the wrong part due to an error on our web site; or we supplied the wrong part; or you ordered the wrong part by mistake; or you decide that you no longer want the part.

We cannot offer a replacement or refund if the part has been used; or damaged whilst being fitted; or has been sent to you as a special order and was agreed to be non-returnable before delivery; or you return it after 14 days.

You will have to pay the cost of the return postage and may be required to pay a handling charge if the part is to be returned to a supplier, we will inform you of this before you return the part to us. You will not have to pay return postage if the item is damaged or we send you the wrong part.
